This winter gnome father is preparing for the solstice, tending roots and seeds and guarding the earth until spring. Handmade in Romania from wool felt and cotton, the black-skinned Ambrosius doll has flexible limbs for woodland adventures and make-believe. Give him a place on a nature table, let him keep watch on a shelf, or bring him into the next story. There is always something to look after underground.
